Working across the UK, our centres are a strategic research and innovation hub for UK industry, collaborating to accelerate industrial transformation and deliver key objectives in support of net zero, healthy living and national security – all as part of the UK Government’s Modern Industrial Strategy.

We power Britain’s future by moving technology from the university to the lab to the factory. We have a proven track record of turning policy into sustainable, efficient manufacturing processes and production, investing more than one billion pounds into our nationwide network of research and development facilities.

From driving better outcomes through national missions like the Industrialising and Digitalising Construction Challenge to working with the Ministry of Defence as part of a new Alliance to grow the UK’s defence industrial base.

The Industrial Strategy is clear that advanced manufacturing is a key growth sector at the heart of our future economy. Supported by Innovate UK, the applied research activities of HVM Catapult are essential to the delivery of the Industrial Strategy Advanced Manufacturing Plan and the Government’s core missions.

At this important stage of our journey, I am looking to attract the best possible CFO to become part of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT).  I’m looking for an instinctively collaborative leader who is comfortable working with complexity.  The finance team has already undergone transformation over the past two years and is now set on solid ground, so I’m looking for someone who can quickly step into the role of leadership, support and development for the existing team, drive continuous improvement and a natural style of working cohesively with all stakeholders.
